Ready to pop: Jessica Simpson looks like she could give birth any second now as she sits poolside with her family

Not much longer: Jessica Simpson looked like she could give birth any day now as she spent time with family, including her sister Ashlee, at a hotel pool in Beverly Hills

Hopefully Jessica Simpson has a driver on standby, because the pregnant star looks like she is ready to pop.

The buxom blonde was spotted sitting poolside with her family, including sister Ashlee, last week at a hotel in Beverly Hills.

Wearing a black swimsuit paired with a multi-coloured beach wrap, Jessica could be seen sipping from a beverage and later walking around the pool.


The 31-year-old is engaged to former NFL player Eric Johnson.

The couple is expecting their first child sometime this spring and recently revealed the baby is a little girl.

Jessica has admitted she hopes their daughter would take more after her than her sportsman beau.

She told America's Elle magazine: 'I swear, I will croak if she asks me for a pair of Nikes instead of Christian Louboutins!

The Texas native spoke earlier this year about her pregnancy cravings and admitted to indulging in calorie-laden treats.

Speaking to Extra in January she said: ‘I had a buttered Pop Tart this morning,' she said. 'I'm eating a lot of stuff that I ate in my childhood.

'Kraft Mac n' Cheese, Pop Tarts, Cap'n Crunch. Everything's filled with sugar.'

Unlike some expecting mothers, Jessica says she is not concerned about watching what she eats and is happily 'give into my cravings'.

'I'm like, 'Yeah, I can do it. We'll worry about the rest afterwards,' she said.

Jessica's new reality competition series Fashion Star debuts on Tuesday in the U.S.

Her role is to help Her role is to help fashion designers impress judges, and buyers from Macy’s, Saks Fifth Avenue and H&M.

In a revolutionary twist, the winning garments from each episode will be available for purchase online the night the show airs and in retail stores the next day.
