St. Patrick's Day is right around the corner, so I've spruced up a little corner of my kitchen for the fun of this holiday. I had a couple of green pillar candles that I bought for pennies after Christmas, and I embellished them with a few of these:
The change is subtle, but it makes the candles a fun part of a St. Patrick's Day vignette:
And after St. Patrick's Day, the tattoos will soak right off!
My special spot to decorate for holidays is the antique dough cabinet that was my mom's. The cabinet stands right beside the table in our casual dining space. Here it is wearing all its green for this week:
Besides my embellished candles, I was thrilled to add Irish Creme Hershey's kisses to my vignette this year. Have you tried these? Heaven in a green wrapper, I think--and aren't they cute in that shamrock dish I bought on clearance at TJMaxx?
